DIPLOMA PROGRAM
(First Prerequisite - Biblical Studies Class)
(4) Introduction to Bible Doctrine: A systematic study of seven doctrines of the Christian faith: God, Angels, Sin, Christ, Salvation, The Holy Spirit and Scripture.
(4) Introduction to Bible Origin: A study of the formation of the Bible, explaining how the Bible was derived and what makes it authoritative.
(4) Introduction to Typology and Symbolism: An expository study of Types and Symbols found in the Bible.
(Second Class)
Specialist in Christian Leadership:
(8) Christian Leadership: This is a comprehensive study of Christian Leadership to develop character and skills that are pertinent to leadership. Course expands from tact and diplomacy to writing business letters and proposals for the church.
(4) Practical Leadership: Leadership beyond the Church: Teaches how to use leadership skills to exemplify Christ in everyday life.
Or, Specialist in Ministry Training:
(2) Introduction to Homiletics: An explanation of the art of homiletical sermonizing with a focus on writing a sermon introduction that will engage an audience.
(4) Homiletics Sermon Writing: The discovery and practice of four models of sermonizing, with online discussions and workshops. Includes Pulpit Etiquette Assignment.
(2) Personal and Practical Evangelism: Presented in a workshop format, this course teaches various methods of presenting the Gospel message. This course also offers a handbook for the evangelist with instructions on how to organize revivals and involve evangelistic team members.
(2) Introduction to Spiritual Leadership: Development of leadership character and skills pertinent to effective ministry.
(2) Ministry and Spiritual Gifts: This course gives the student a clear understanding of both categories of Gifts and how these gifts are governed.
OTHER COURSE REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAM COMPLETION FOR EACH SPECIALIST PROGRAM:
(1) Library Hours/Research: Independent Reading on related subjects or other ministry related literature at a public library, large chain bookstore or Christian bookstore for a total of 7 hours (3 ½ hours per semester).
(1) 1 Hour of Community Service: Required by the end of the year
CHAPEL (1) Monthly Chapel Services for ministry conduct and proficiency
(Third/Final Class for Diploma)
(4) Bible Doctrine II: In-depth research of the Christian Doctrines of Anthropology (The Doctrine of Man), Ecclesiology (The Doctrine of the Church), and Eschatology (The Doctrine of Last Things).
(4) Church History: A study of six periods of the Church’s history from the Apostolic Church (A.D. 30) to present times.
(4) Comparative Religions and Cults: The study of other religions and religious practices making comparisons with Christianity.
(1) The Life of Christ: A Hermeneutic approach to the life, mission and ministry of Jesus Christ.
